About us

Kat and Pheng spent five winters hauling dead cabinets out of basements across the Upper Midwest, then opened in an old brick machine shop in Northeast with nine games and eight taps. Every machine on the floor is ours and rebuilt by hand. Come early, stay late, and put your initials on the board!

What's on

01

Retro cabinets

Thirty-eight upright and cocktail cabinets from the early eighties through the nineties, restored in our back shop and running on tokens, four for $1.

02

Pinball

Sixteen tables, from 1970s electromechanicals to modern widebodies. $1 a game, and a league every Monday night that welcomes drop-ins.

03

Craft bar

Twenty-four taps, most of them Minnesota breweries within ten miles of the door, cocktails named for the games and a real zero-proof list.

04

Skee-ball and lounge

Four full-length skee-ball lanes, air hockey, and a couch lounge with classic consoles on big CRT TVs. First come, first played.

05

Kitchen

Smash burgers, hand-twisted pretzels with beer cheese, and tots, served until 11pm and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

We did the Side Quest for my son's sixteenth. Ten teenagers, forty tokens each, and not one of them looked at a phone for two hours.

Megan, Northeast

Best pinball in the Twin Cities, and the tables actually work. Monday league is the friendliest night out I know.

Andre, Longfellow

Booked the Back Room for our team of forty. Pheng gave a two-minute history of every cabinet and half the office stayed until close.

Questions

Can kids come?

Yes, until 8pm with an adult. After 8pm we are 21+ and check every ID at the door. Saturday family afternoons run noon to 5pm.

Is there a cover charge?

Never. Walk in, buy tokens or a wristband, and play as much or as little as you like.

Do you take reservations?

Not for tables: it is first come, first played. For ten or more, book a party and we will hold your space.

Do the games take cards?

The change machines by the door take cards and cash. Every cabinet runs on tokens, 4 for $1, and pinball is $1 a game. Bring quarters if you like and we will swap them at the bar.

What if a machine is down?

Every cabinet is rebuilt by hand in our back shop. If one is resting, there is a note on it saying what is wrong and when it is back.

Where do I park?

Free street parking on the avenue and the side streets after 6pm, and a bike rack out front.
